About me
About me - I am a Creative Director with over 15 years experience across both B2C and B2B, in agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi and BBC Creative.
I’m very much a conceptual creative - for me, its all about the big idea. I believe that advertising is more powerful when it's aligned behind a singular thought and taps into a fundamental truth. I believe that advertising should challenge us creatively, should delight our clients and most importantly, impact the world in a positive way.
How I work - As a Creative Director, I lead teams of talented Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers and Strategists to deliver best-in-class creative brands and campaigns that make a real-world impact.
I recruit and nurture talent of all levels and I build tight-knit creative teams because I believe people are stronger when they work together, when they can trust and rely on each other’s skillsets. I have also worked in agencies with a true global presence, which has made me comfortable leading teams that span multiple timezones.
While I may lead these teams, I also believe in getting my hands dirty and getting stuck in where I’m most needed - mostly at the beginning of the project in the ideas phase.
Pitching, presenting and managing stakeholders has also emerged as a true strength, especially when crafting campaigns where multiple high-level clients all need to have their say.
The kind of work I do
In the world of B2B - I like to create data and insight-powered campaigns - often for fortune 500 companies like Thomson Reuters, Accenture and most recently, Microsoft.
In the world of B2C - I have a wealth of experience creating campaigns for entertainment clients like Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Universal Music and the BBC. Many of these campaigns were tech-firsts and many broke digital records when launched.
In an ideal world - I want to create more campaigns that impact the planet in a positive way - whether advancing social, environmental or political movements.

Where I’ve been
-
While in my Creative Director role at the Boulder Group I've directed award winning campaigns for clients who are changing the world for the better. I lead an insanely talented team of designers, writers and creatives across brand, campaigns and web. I've implemented and encorced standardised creative processes which has led to greater efficiencies, increased profitability and, arguably, better work.
As a director level talent I've overseen our young talent initiative - helping young people intern with Boulder from all corners of the globe - including under-represented groups through the Good Nugget scheme. I've also helped shape the day-to-day culture of the agency - even being awarded 'Times Best Agencies to Work at 2024'. -
In this role, I oversaw creative teams, conceptual creatives and designers across multiple time zones, to create highly tactical comms for Fortune 500 companies.
I'm honed my craft as a hands-on Creative Director. I got stuck in where necessary and oversaw where appropriate.
To this day, I continue to be a pitch-leader and team-player. I was the go-to CD for campaigns that aim to generate positive behavioural change. -
In this role, I was charged with raising the creative quality of projects across BBC News and BBC World Service. I consulted for teams across AAA entertainment franchises, led pitches on new TV series, launched World Service podcasts into India and helped on a major News rebrand.
-
In this role, I worked exclusively on the agency’s biggest client - Accenture - working across their major campaigns, worldwide comms and special ABM opportunities.
-
At Saatchi Pro, answering exclusively to the ECD, I acted as creative lead across several major clients and led pitches for new business - I was part of a team that turned the agency into Saatchi's most profitable agency in 2017.
-
This role involved high-level digital concepts for entertainment brands. At this agency I won multiple awards and achieved several tech-firsts - I worked with clients like Sony Pictures, Tabasco and Paramount Pictures.
Outside work
I’m a huge fan of creatives bringing their creative passions into the work they create, and I guess I’m no different. Here’s a few things I love outside work…
I have an unhealthy obsession with street-photography - a form of candid photography. I’ve been able to bring this interest into my work for several projects. For a year, I even ran my own street photography YouTube channel - offering POV photo videos, gear reviews, tips and techniques.
I’m a short film maker - I have written and directed several short films in recent years. My most recent short is called ‘Siren’. It’s a cyberpunk inspired short which tells the story of Emily, a disenfranchised woman living in an uncaring near-future city.
Siren has been really well received on the UK film festival circuit - it’s amassed a number of awards and has played in 20+ festivals!
This passion for filmmaking has also found it’s way into my work as I’ve directed several live action shoots for clients like Accenture, valued at 500k and above.
I’m a big gamer - I predominantly play story heavy single player games. I’m fascinated by the gaming landscape - especially how it’s helping people embrace the meta verse.
My sport of choice is MMA and boxing. I can also be spotted carrying a bow and quiver full of arrows on Monday nights as I make my way to my archery class. I’m a cat enthusiast and remain convinced that they’ll take over the world. I also enjoy the outdoors and I possess an unusual number of wilderness skills for living off grid in case of the eventual cat uprising.
I like to grow my own fruit and veg. My extended family in ireland were all farmers - and I guess some of that rubbed off as I now run an allotment and grow all sorts of fruit and veg year round.
